On Saturday night, Shane Mosley Jr. will make a new transition in his life when he steps inside the BKB pit for the first time.

Mosley, the son of the living legend by the same name, has been learning on the job thus far in the pro boxing game, as he has compiled a 4-1 record while getting work all over Las Vegas and California.

BKB, also known as Big Knockout Boxing to some, offers the 24-year old Mosley an alternative to the squared circle and he seems eager for this new endeavour. Mosley faces off with Jason Kelly from inside of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino as part of an eight-bout pay per view attraction.

“I felt like it was a good fit for me,” Mosley told Hustle Boss of his foray into BKB. “A good opportunity to get my face out there to the public. I’m confident in my skills and ability to fight and that’s what they do here.”

For Mosley, fighting is in his blood and that’s just another reason for him to believe in this opportunity.

“Absolutely,” Mosley affirmed. “I’ve got my grandfather right here and I’ve got my father. I’ve got great knowledge in my corner.”
