Will Floyd Mayweather make a comeback to the sport and who will it be against?

The retired, former pound-for-pound king made headlines last month when he revealed that he would be returning to face off with his former foe Manny Pacquiao in December. And while it’s obvious Mayweather vs. Pacquiao II won’t be happening this year, there seems to be real reason to believe we could see them face off in 2019.

It does look like both men will have a tune-up first, with former four-division champion Adrien Broner’s name being in the mix. So perhaps Cinco De Mayo in 2019 in Las Vegas will be on tap for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao the sequel?

While in Chicago this past weekend, we caught up with former bronze medalist Nate Jones, who is part of Team Mayweather. jones is known for holding the body bag while Floyd pounds away and he has been an essential part of Mayweather’s camp for several years running.

Check the video below to hear Jones’ thoughts on Floyd’s comeback, and why he is simply waiting for his call.
