Moments ago, from the Venetian Resort in Macau, China, eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao dominated a game but outgunned Chris Algieri over 12 one-sided rounds.

Pacquiao scored six knockdown throughout the match, with scorecards of 120-102 and 119-103 twice favoring the Filipino icon.

Following the action, Pacquiao spoke with HBO analyst Max Kellerman about his performance.

“I came to fight,” Pacquiao explained. “I did my best and I think that’s enough. I’m looking for a knockout but he’s fast, he’s moving.”

When asked about a still-lucrative showdown with Floyd Mayweather in 2015, Pacquiao at first mocked the question.

“He’s going to fight me? Yes!” exclaimed Pacquiao, referencing his recent Foot Locker commercial.

Changing up his tone a bit, Pacquiao did express interest in the showdown that the boxing world still wants to see.

“I think I’m ready to fight [him] next year,” said Pacquiao.
