Early last month, it was reported that Five-time Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach had elected to remove Alex Ariza from the camp of Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao ahead of his Nov. 23 duel with Brandon Rios.

Ariza, the outspoken strength and conditioning coach, had been with Pacquiao dating back to the spring of 2008 following his split-decision victory over Juan Manuel Marquez and played a huge role in his rise in weight while collecting additional titles at the lightweight, junior welterweight, welterweight, and junior middleweight divisions.

Roach claimed that Ariza had become a distraction in camp because he was trying to do everyone else’s job and added that “Nobody really gets along with this guy” when we spoke at the Pacquiao-Rios presser in Los Angeles a few days after news broke of the rift.

Never one to bite his tongue, Ariza took to Twitter on Monday and issued the following.

Floyd Mayweather once again reminded the boxing world that he is the game’s premier performer by thoroughly outclassing Mexican superstar Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez this past weekend in Las Vegas.

Inside of a sold-out MGM Grand Garden Arena, Mayweather seemed to effortlessly control the action against his 23-year old foe over the course of twelve rounds. Mayweather did as he pleased on both the offensive and defensive ends before walking out of the building with a majority decision nod as well as his 45th professional victory in as many fights.

There was no one with a better view of the action as Mayweather’s father and trainer Floyd Sr.

Shortly after his son’s triumph, Floyd Sr. shared his thoughts on his performance as well as some dismay towards the 114-114 scorecard issued by judge C.J. Ross.

“I thought he did a beautiful job,” Floyd Sr. stated at the post-fight press conference. “The only thing I didn’t like is that they were talking about a draw. There’s no way in hell that could have been a draw. No way, no means, by any way.

Kelly Rowland secretly married earlier this year?

Instagram updates KELLY rowland ...3b49cce61f4111e3abce22000a1f96d4_7Instagram updates KELLY rowland ...

According to a report from MediaTakOut.com on Tuesday, Sept. 17, singer Kelly Rowland and her longtime boyfriend and manager Tim Witherspoon were secretly married earlier this year.

The insider apparently has close ties to Witherspoon and claimed that part of the reason to keep the wedding private was because of her personal image.

“Kelly and Tim have been together for years, and decided to get married,” stated the source. “Kelly wants to keep her sexy singer image alive, so she’s keeping everything a secret. Most people didn’t even know she had a boyfriend.”

In a nice twist, it turns out that the couple decided not to get wedding rings, as they instead got matching tattoos on their wedding fingers as a sign of their love.

In prior reports, the “Destiny’s Child” songbird had offered up her viewpoint of her relationship status, perhaps in an effort to put on some kind of smokescreen.

“I’m actually single but you know you have little things on the side,” Kelly stated. “There’s nobody I’m dating but I have a special friend.”

Turns out that special friend may now be her husband.
