On Saturday night, November 25, David “El Monstruo” Benavídez once again showed his full arsenal, as he dominated former two-division champion Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade, scoring a stoppage after the sixth round of their SHOWTIME pay-per-view main event from Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
Benavídez (28-0, 24 KOs) was in rare form, despite a valiant and gutsy effort from Andrade (32-1, 19 KOs), who boxed well and held his own early on. Benavidez dropped Andrade with a looping punch just seconds before the end of the fourth round, and you could sense that the fight had completely shifted.
Magic 2023 was in full swing, and the second leg of Las Vegas reminded me of the good old days from a decade ago as wholesalers and suppliers packed the Convention Center if not to escape the scorching 115 heat, but to also connect and reconnect with partners, clients and old acquaintances.
One new amazing feature at the convention center that we didn’t have back in the day is the Tesla Tunnel. I’ve seen some videos and heard through colleagues about it, but to actually ride it is truly impressive.

When I first caught word about “Tizzle Berries” hitting the city, it must have been inside of the Mayeather Boxing Club out here in Las Vegas.
Tizzle Berries, as seen on their growing Instagram Page, are strawberries filled with cheesecake filling with a variety of different toppings. There is a good buzz going for the berries at the moment, and it’s the kind of snack that people in Las Vegas can appreciate given the constant hustle and bustle in the city and how hard it can be to often find something original to eat in town.
