In Game 2 of the 2025 Western Conference Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder again defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 118-103 to take a 2-0 series lead.

League MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge with 38 points, 8 assists, and 3 steals, continuing his impressive playoff run.

Jalen Williams added 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Chet Holmgren contributed 22 points. Oklahoma City’s defense was key, forcing 14 turnovers and holding Minnesota to 41% shooting overall.

Oklahoma shot 45-90 (50%) from the field and continue to play together quite efficiently as a squad.

The Timberwolves struggled offensively, with Julius Randle limited to just 2-for-11 shooting. Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards added 32 points but his team was unable to close the gap.

The Thunder’s strong third quarter, outscoring the Timberwolves 35-21, put the game out of reach. Minnesota now faces a tough task down 0-2 as the series shifts to their home court for Game 3.
