This past Friday, July 15, inside of the Bell Bank Park in Mesa, AZ, Freedom Fight Night 2: Team Ortiz vs Team Bader took place.
The 10-bout card saw many prospects move forward with defining victories, including featherweight “Twilight” Timmy Cuamba, who moved to 5-1 (2 KO’s) with a second-round knockout (2:05) over Cody Huard.
We were fortunate enough to have been in camp with Cuamba leading up to the match, as he trained with Dewey Cooper inside of Split-T Boxing Club. Some of these sessions have included fast-paced sparring with unbeaten UFC prospect Javid Basharat (12-0), which was very high-level work to witness.
Check below for a closer look at Cuamba’s progression leading up to the Huard knockout.
