WBO junior lightweight champion Roman ‘Rocky’ Martinez and Mikey Garcia facing off

Moments ago, in Corpus Christi, Tex., two-time WBO junior lightweight champion Roman ‘Rocky’ Martinez (27-1-2, 16 KO’s) and challenger and former champion Mikey Garcia (32-0, 27 KO’s) both made weight ahead of their HBO-televised clash.

Martinez hit the scales at 129.75 pounds while Garcia weighed in at 128.75 pounds. The two men meet on Saturday night inside of the American Bank Center.
