On Saturday night, from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, once-beaten junior middleweight contenders Erickson Lubin and Terrell Gausha will collide on SHOWTIME.
Lubin (22-1, 16 KO’s) and Gausha (21-1-1, 10 KO’s) will face off in a high-stakes contest that will also serve as a WBC title eliminator. The current WBC champion is Jermell Charlo, who faces off with IBF/WBA champion Jeison Rosario one week from now.
All aforementioned fighters are under the Premier Boxing Champions banner, so expect the winners to face off down the road.
Both men came in under the junior middleweight limit of 154 pounds, with Lubin weighing 153.75 pounds and Gausha coming in at 153 pounds. Both men look to be in peak physical condition and full of confidence heading into this pivotal matchup.
