On Thursday night, Feb. 13, from the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV, Reid Boxing will stage its first official event in the city.

Headlining the show is a very intriguing junior middleweight fight between battle-tested Cameron Krael (16-15-3, 4 KO’s) and hard-charging Uzbekistan Ravshan Hudaynazarov (17-3, 13 KO’s). Krael has made his name by fighting anyone put in front of him, win or lose, while Hudaynazarov is looking to get back into the win column following three defeats.

At Hustle Boss, we have been fortunate to have covered several boxing-related events over the years, in and out of the ring, including various prospects from all walks of life. As the years go past, the photos become something like a “lost file” if you will, as they are somewhat forgotten, but still not technically deleted.

I took it upon myself recently to begin sifting through some of my personal photos that I have shot, and it’s been a trip down memory lane. To see the progression made by some of the people featured has also been inspiring.

Images from Johnny Tocco’s Ringside Gym in Las Vegas, Nev. as another entertaining round of First Friday Exhibition Sparring took place.

The sparring has been taking place since 2014 and there has been some excellent work that has went down. This past Friday, more quality action took place, including seeing super middleweight contender Denis Douglin (20-6, 13 KO’s) in action, as he worked with rising amateur Karam Al Mahseri. National champion Alex “ATG” Thiel was also back in the mix, as well as several other amateurs going at it.

Earlier this month, inside of Johnny Tocco’s Ringside Gym in Las Vegas, Nev., undefeated super middleweight prospect Caleb “Sweet Hands” Plant (14-0, 10 KO’s) and once-beaten super middleweight Sena Agbeko (15-1, 15 KO’s) visited the gym to get in some sparring ahead of their respective bouts.

Plant fights on Feb. 25 inside of the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Al., against Ghana’s Thomas Awimbono (25-6-1, 21 KO’s) on the same card that WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder faces off with contender Gerald Washington. The following month, on March 17, Agbeko returns against journeyman Rashad Jones in Nashville, Tennessee.

Top sparring continues to take place inside of Johnny Tocco’s Ringside Gym in Las Vegas, Nev. as the gym’s monthly “First Friday” sparring exhibition series also continues to gain steam.

This past Friday, Feb. 3, more action was taking place inside of Tocco’s, as we caught up with two of the nation’s top amateurs, Rahim Gonzales and Alex “ATG” Thiel, while they were putting in some work.

I made sure to stop by Johnny Tocco’s Ringside Gym this past Friday night, Jan. 6, to check out some of the action taking place between some of the area’s top amateur and professional prospects and I wasn’t disappointed.

The exhibition sparring series has been taking place on the first Friday of every month inside of Tocco’s in Las Vegas, and it has given both the fighters a chance to shine as well as the spectators a glimpse of some key pieces to boxing’s future.

Budding amateur Alex Thiel, who has had a stellar 2016 campaign thus far, winning numerous national tournaments, recently got in some work with sharp junior middleweight prospect Eric “Baby-Faced Assassin” Walker (13-0, 6 KO’s) and it was something to watch.
