On Thursday night, Feb. 13, from the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV, Reid Boxing will stage its first official event in the city.
Headlining the show is a very intriguing junior middleweight fight between battle-tested Cameron Krael (16-15-3, 4 KO’s) and hard-charging Uzbekistan Ravshan Hudaynazarov (17-3, 13 KO’s). Krael has made his name by fighting anyone put in front of him, win or lose, while Hudaynazarov is looking to get back into the win column following three defeats.
On the undercard, a pair of Ohio fighters will go at it, as Youngstown’s Victor Toney (5-1, 4 KO’s) faces off with Dayton’s Will Clemons (4-0, 2 KO’s) in a middleweight bout. Clemons has been in Vegas for several years, sparring with top champions like Floyd Mayweather, looking for a shot.
Unbeaten Andrei Odintsev (4-0, 4 KO’s) faces an interesting challenge against ambitious Britton Norwood (9-4-1, 7 KO’s) in a light-heavyweight clash that figures to bring action.
Making his professional debut will be accomplished amateur champion Alex “ATG” Thiel, who meets up with Rene Siluano-Garcia, who will also be making his pro debut, in a junior middleweight fight.
Last but not least, Moldova’s Alex Cazac (2-2, 0 KO’s) will meet up with Jabrandon Harris (0-5) in a super middleweight contest.
Stay tuned for more updates from Thursday night’s fights.
