A very intriguing fight in the middleweight division will be going down, as it was announced by Golden Boy Promotions and Eye of the Tiger Management that David Lemieux (33-2, 31 KO’s) and Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam (31-1, 18 KO’s) will be facing off for the vacant IBF middleweight title.

Lemieux is a hot ticket in the sport and presently riding an eight-fight winning streak, with seven of the victories coming by way of stoppage. His last fight was an entertaining 10th round TKO over the very rugged Gabriel Rosado on HBO. Lemieux brings a very stout punch with him into the ring but he will certainly have his mettle tested with N’Dam.

N’Dam’s lone loss was against Peter Quillin a few years back in a match that saw him get off the canvas six times before dropping a unanimous decision.

The Cameroon native has won four in a row, with his latest victory being over former title challenger Curtis Stevens this past October.
