Adrien Broner is quite the character.
At Thursday’s final press conference ahead of his matchup with former champion Shawn Porter, the Cincinnati native continued to fire verbal bombs as the Saturday matchup nears.
Broner insists that Porter, despite being 27 years old and an obvious brute inside of the squared circle, has been overshadowed by his father and trainer Kenny throughout his career.
Broner claims that Kenny is too much in charge of Shawn’s life, from the money he makes to the kind of car he drives, and continued to dig while speaking on the dais.
Kenny responded briefly during Broner’s rant, and later told Hustle Boss that all the talk won’t be affecting Shawn tomorrow night.
“He’s built different than me,” Kenny claimed, noting that he would be the type of person to fight someone “for free” while Shawn is completely calmed and focused right now.
