It’s been nearly three years now since we linked up with young and bullish LaDarius Miller inside of the Mayweather Boxing Club.

Having then traveled on bus from his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, it was easy to spot that Miller had some good ol’ fashioned Southern attitude in him, but it was coupled with a modest and determined approach that led you to believe he would be someone to keep an eye on.

And he has.

On Dec 12, Miller (4-0, 1 KO) will continue his campaign as a flourishing junior welterweight when he heads to San Antonio, Tex. to meet up with James Burns (2-5-1, 1 KO) inside of the Illusions Theater.

Burns is regarded as a tough journeyman, and he dropped a decision to local Vegas fighter Jesus ‘Chuy’ Gutierrez a few years back.

Having had a chance to study Miller over the years, it has been his grit and toughness that have stood out just as much as the skills he shows off from his southpaw style.

Raw sparring with the likes of Ishe Smith, Shawn Porter, Adrien Broner, and countless others inside of the Mayweather Boxing Club have showcased Miller’s tough mental mindset, as he’s given everyone he’s been in with excellent work.

Taking to his personal social media accounts a few days ago, Memphis declared that he is ready for ‘WAR’ and those in San Antonio checking him out should expect a good show.
