On Saturday night, Feb. 28, inside of the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., UFC star Ronda Rousey continued to impress, knocking out previously-undefeated Cat Zingano in just 14 seconds at UFC 184.
Rousey has garnered mainstream attention for her accomplishments and is one of the most-publicized female athletes on the planet.
So much has Rousey’s buzz spread that eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has paid his respect. Taking to social media following the match, Pacquiao posted a photo of himself holding up a sign that stated the following.
“Ronda Rousey,
I congratulate you for your amazing performance tonight. That’s a well-deserved victory. Let’s give glory to God for all your accomplishments.”
Pacquiao recently landed in Los Angeles to get a head start on his training camp ahead of his May 2 pay per view mega fight vs. Floyd Mayweather, set for the MGM Grand in Las Vegas
