An update from Denver, Colorado, as rugged Russian Ruslan Provodnikov scores a thrilling stoppage victory over hometown favorite Mike Alvarado. Provodnikov and Alvarado traded heavy leather early and the fight appeard to be even through six or seven rounds.

In the eighth, Provodnikov broke through to score two knockdowns against a fading Alvarado. After some more punishment in the 10th, Alvarado remained on his stool, granting Provodnikov with the big victory
