I’ve recently become very interested in the CBD industry, as it’s a market that is rapidly growing and is pretty fascinating once you really get into it.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is growing in popularity, with many people worldwide discovering all of its natural health and wellness benefits. Celebrities are coming out of the woodwork to show their support, with several CBD brands also emerging.

CBD is one of the 113 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, yet, unlike THC, cannabidiol doesn’t have any psychoactive effects and instead heals the body. The landscape is always changing, and it’s no real wonder why CBD is skyrocketing in use and popularity.

Given my growing interest in CBD, it was only natural that my curiosity was perked during a recent drive in Fort Myers when I noticed a sign for the 2019 Florida Cannabis Expo.

I immediately reached out to inquire about media access and days later I found myself on the road towards Miami for this past weekend’s expo. I have covered several conventions in Las Vegas and was interested to see what Florida had to offer.

All in all I can say it was definitely a worthwhile experience being inside of the Cannabis Expo and there was much networking to be had with several brands and individuals alike.
