For the past year I’ve become familiar with prospect Blair “The Flair” Cobbs, a Philadelphia native who has relocated to Las Vegas to further hone his skills.

Training out of the Bones Adams Boxing Gym, Cobbs (8-0, 6 KO’s) has continued to progress, racking up four victories in 2017, three of them being stoppages.

Managed by Prince Ranch Boxing’s Greg Hannley, Cobbs, 27, fights from a southpaw stance and is very awkward. He combines speed and elusiveness with athleticism, and is a very hard to keep up with inside of the ring.

“I’m super excited that I’ve signed with Golden Boy Promotions,” Cobbs said recently. “I worked extremely hard to get in position to sign with a top-notch promoter and all that hard work has paid off. It’s time to step up my game and show the world that I belong with the elite fighters in my division. I’m going to make everyone proud at Golden Boy with electrifying performances.
