Moments ago, inside of Madison Square Garden in New York, WBO junior lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (10-1, 8 KO’s) scored a one-sided TKO victory over Cuban marvel and WBA junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-1, 11 KO’s).

Lomachenko, 29, was simply too big, too precise, and too skilled for Rigondeaux, 37, who had no answers for his Ukrainian foe. Following the sixth round, Rigondeaux elected not to come out for another round and the bout was waved off.

Stay tuned for more updates.
