On Friday, May 13, cruiserweight prospect Andrew “The Beast” Tabiti will have the biggest assignment of his blossoming career when he faces off with Keith Tapia at the Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall.

Those in the know have always considered Tabiti (12-0, 11 KO’s) one of the shining jewels of the Mayweather Promotions stable and his matchup with Tapia (17-0, 12 KO’s) will give him the exact opportunity that he wants at this point in his career.

“I’m really coming in confident,” Tabiti told Hustle Boss recently, as he trained inside of City Athletic Boxing in West Las Vegas.

“This is the next step. This will be the next level where I need to be. I wanted a good, solid fighter in front of me and I can show the world what I can do,” Tabiti added.

Tabiti is about a week away from his showdown and he looks sharp in all aspects of training. On this particular session he finished up with some mitt work with trainer Otis Pimpleton, who is like an assistant to Tabiti along with his chief trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr.

And despite often talking with modesty, you can tell what Tabiti has on his mind.

“I’m going to come in there and destroy,” the 26-year old stated.
