If you ever happen to catch Yordenis Ugas in training, you will surely notice just how hard he has been working these past few years.

Ugas, 31, is a Cuban welterweight contender who moved his career ledger to 20-3 (9 KO’s) following his Aug. 26 unanimous decision victory over Thomas Dulorme on the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor undercard. Ugas vs. Dulorme was a competitive battle that saw each man hit the canvas, as scores of 94-91 and 93-92 twice were read in Ugas’ favor.

Ugas took the fight with Dulorme on late notice, filling in for former welterweight champion Shawn Porter, and it added to his recent run of success, as he has won of five victories in a row, defeating two undefeated fighters in that mix. The victory over Dulorme was significant and Ugas should be in line for a big fight come early 2018.

Check below for a recap of Ugas’ career, including his recent run of victories.
