19-year old Abdullah Mason continues to stand out as one of the top prospects in all of boxing.
On Thursday evening, Mason improved to 11-0 (9 KO’s) with a blistering second round knockout over José Cardenas.
A straight left by Mason sent Cardenas to the canvas with just over 1:15 to go in the opening round.

Referee Tony Weeks stopped the contest at 1:55 of the second round, as soon as Cardenas had went down for the second time following a counter left from Mason. It was evident that it was all but over.
Cardenas (7-2, 5 KO’s), of Laredo, Texas, lost by knockout for the first time in five years as a professional.
Mason is a special talent and continues to be one to look out for. Can’t wait for his next outing.
