It’s been a few years now that Hustle Boss has been in the trenches with UK star and top-flight junior welterweight contender Ashley “Treasure” Theophane.

Around the time we first started corresponding with Theophane, around early 2012 I would reckon, he was in town for some training at the Mayweather Boxing Club in hopes of keeping his career alive. Theophane was then an unsigned free agent with a checkered record and there was no clear direction on where his career was heading.

Subsequent trips to Las Vegas followed and Theophane soon found himself a fixture in the gym, as he made his bones sparring a bevy of world-class fighters, from champions to contenders and prospects. Some grueling sessions with Floyd Mayweather even took place and that was more than enough for the world’s best fighter to take Theophane under his wing.

Theophane has been with Mayweather Promotions for his past seven ring appearances and he is riding a six-bout winning streak following a Sep. 2013 points loss to Pablo Cesar Cano.

Next up for the 35-year old contender looks to be a clash with WBA junior welterweight champion and four-division world titlist Adrien Broner in early 2016. It’s an interesting matchup and if the fight becomes official there should be an entertaining build-up.

Broner is one of the more colorful characters in the sport and his career is again on the upswing following a 12th round TKO over Khabib Allakhverdiev earlier this month.

And despite Broner recently taking a few swipes at Theophane on live air, Ashley has chosen to simply focus on his training while enjoying the banter.

Check below for some light work from Theophane and stay tuned for more updates from his camp for Broner.
