On Nov. 21, inside of the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nev., former junior middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez will face off with WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto in an HBO pay per view showdown.

At just 25 years old and sporting a 45-1-1 record with 32 knockouts, Alvarez stands as one of the future faces of the sport of boxing, yet there is a lot on the line for him in this match. The simple fact that two of Golden Boy Promotions’ top stars, Lucas Matthysse and David Lemieux, suffered stoppage losses this month puts more pressure on Alvarez to perform against Cotto.

At the WBC’s 30-Day Weigh-In ahead of the match, Alvarez showed off his physique, as he came in weighing 167.8 pounds. The Cotto matchup is set for a catch-weight of 155 pounds.
