Badou Jack was unfazed by the pre-fight trash talk of Anthony Dirrell Friday night at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Jack out hustled his opponent and showed great poise on his way to winning the WBC super middleweight title.

Anthony Dirrell (27-1-1) suffered his first pro defeat but says that he wants a rematch. However, that scenario does not seem likely in the foreseeable future, as Jack will have to make a mandatory defense versus England’s George Groves, who was also ringside for the fight.

Notes: Hall of Famed Joe Calazaghe made his Spike PBC debut as a guest analyst. Calazaghe looked as comfortable on the screen as he did when fighting fighters sitting his era. Lucian Bute and George Groves were both in attendance, quite possibly scouting their next opponents.
