Happy New Year’s to everyone across the globe.

However you brought in 2015, whether with or without resolutions, it can be an exciting and challenging prospect to eye a new calendar year and set new goals.

At HustleBoss.com we kept it moving as 2015 counted down, first swinging through the Top Rank Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada to link up with 17-year old Damien ‘Sugar’ Vasquez, who recently captured the NABF flyweight title in his last match.

Vasquez is trained by seasoned Cuban vet Ismael Salas, who has worked with the likes of Guillermo Rigondeaux, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Jessie Vargas, and several others. Salas, seen below, is beyond pleased with Vasquez’s progression thus far and expects several big doors to open this year.

Before leaving, I spotted aspiring light heavyweight prospect Jonathan Blue, who has been making some serious noise in the city due to his tireless work ethic and passion. Lately, Blue has been putting in work under the watchful eye of former bantamweight champion Richie Sandoval and veteran Miguel Diaz as he eyes a Jan. 10 return at the Texas Station Casino.

A few hours later and the energy stayed on point with rising amateur and soon-to-be professional prospects Izaiah Bautista, Daquan Mays and Tavorrye Whitaker.

Each one of these kids has special talent and I look forward to what this year holds for all of them.

We figured it was only right to hit up the homie Narley in the hospital before heading South. A local rapper with talents that surpass just music, Narley has already shown people that a wheelchair will never slow him down but don’t be shocked to see what else he has in store in 2015.

J’Leon Love always is one to create a scene and it was good to catch up with the Inkster native inside of Musawwir’s Barber Shop right off of the Strip as he was finishing up getting trimmed.

Baldy Smith, seen below to the left, made sure to get a flick with the 18-1 (10 KO’s) super middleweight prospect Love, who has shown an amazing ability to bounce back following adversity in his career.

At the end of the day, Las Vegas is a city full dream chasers and you will find people full of countless hustles. It’s refreshing to be around these promising pupils as we pursue a brighter life.

Have a blessed 2015 everyone.
