Conor McGregor has never been a man short on confidence.

One of the most celebrated UFC fighters in recent memory, the 27-year old is days away from his biggest test as a professional, as he will be facing off with featherweight champion Jose Aldo on Saturday night from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev. as the headliner to UFC 194.

The McGregor vs. Aldo showdown has the fight world buzzing, with many conflicting views on who will win the matchup come this weekend.

And for as outspoken as he has been in the past, McGregor has appeared to be tranquil and subdued leading into the match. Taking to his personal Instagram on Wednesday night, McGregor put everything into perspective.

“My entire life’s work has been for this moment,” McGregor stated on Wednesday night, via his personal Instagram account, as he showed off his ripped physique.

“I have cut no corners in my preparation,” the brash Irishman added. “On Saturday night I will take the entire game to school and claim my Number 1 [Pound for pound] spot. Placing myself and my nation at the top of fighting. Where it belongs.”

Saturday night can’t come soon enough.
