It’s been  a treat watching Ismael Salas work his magic in Las Vegas the past few years.

Salas, a Cuban trainer who used to be known by many for his work with champions Yuriorkis Gamboa and Guillermo Rigondeaux, has really branched out the past few years and currently works with a very strong crop of fighters.

WBC lightweight champion Jorge Linares, former junior lightweight champion Rances Barthelemy, interim WBA cruiserweight champion Beibut Shumenov, and NABF junior flyweight champion Damien “Sugar” Vasquez are some of the names Salas presently works with and he appears to have locked down a new location for his stable.

After dividing his recent time between the Top Rank Gym and the Bones Adams Boxing Gym, Salas is now going to be working out of City Athletic Boxing in West Las Vegas.

The state-of-the-art facility, ran by former fighter, trainer, and owner Armin Van Damme, has seen a bevy of top-level fighters frequent the gym in recent months and Salas and his stable will surely be a great fit.

Stay tuned for more news on Salas’ move to City Athletic Boxing in the coming weeks and check below for more boxing updates.
