It was a crowded scene on Wednesday afternoon, April 17, as undefeated WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather (43-0, 26 KO’s) hosted the media in advance of his upcoming duel with interim champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero.
Mayweather faces off with Guerrero on May 4 from the MGM Grand in a Showtime pay per view attraction that will serves as one of the year’s biggest events.
And while Guerrero too held his own media day on Tuesday, it was Mayweather who actually conducted a full-fledged workout.
From hitting the mitts with his Uncle and trainer Roger, to ripping shots on the heavy bag, and jumping rope, it was easy to spot just how pristine of shape the 36-year old Mayweather is presently in.
Having announced to the world that he wishes to fight six more times in the next 30 months, Mayweather is leaving no room for error as he heads into yet another high-profile encounter.
