It was a pleasant surprise to catch former lineal heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman inside of City Athletic Boxing in Las Vegas on Monday afternoon.

Rahman is actually in excellent shape these days, as he was seen hitting the mitts rigorously with trainer Kevin Henry towards the end of his workout session.

Rahman’s son Sharif is preparing for his professional debut on Dec. 12 in the Rahmans’ hometown of Baltimore, Md., and Hasim actually going to be lacing up the gloves on the same night, albeit in an exhibition match.
