Undefeated lightweight contender Frank “The Ghost” Martin is one step closer to a potential world title shot.

This past Saturday night, inside of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, NV, Martin (18-0, 12 KO’s) edged his very tough Armenian opponent, Artem Harutyunyan, over 12 intense rounds of action. Martin rallied late, forcing Hartutyunyan (12-1, 7 KO’s) to take a knee in the final round, as he saw scorecards reading 114-113 and 115-112 (x2) go in his favor.

Following yet another significant victory, Martin spoke to the press post-fight about the future, and what he observed from his promoter, current IBF/WBA/WBC welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr., during the contest.
