On Saturday night, June 15, WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis scored another dramatic knockout, halting brave contender Frank “The Ghost” Martin in the eighth round.
The matchup was presented by Premier Boxing Champions and aired on Amazon Prime pay per view from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV.

Undefeated lightweight contender Frank “The Ghost” Martin is one step closer to a potential world title shot.
This past Saturday night, inside of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, NV, Martin (18-0, 12 KO’s) edged his very tough Armenian opponent, Artem Harutyunyan, over 12 intense rounds of action. Martin rallied late, forcing Hartutyunyan (12-1, 7 KO’s) to take a knee in the final round, as he saw scorecards reading 114-113 and 115-112 (x2) go in his favor.
