Inocente Fiz signs with Team Vasquez; undefeated Cuban now training in Las Vegas

If you are in the sport of boxing and are after some kind of greatness, you eventually will find yourself coming to Las Vegas at some point, whether to train and set up camp or to showcase your skills on the biggest of stages.

People from all walks of life converge in this city and another new face has recently made his way to Las Vegas, as undefeated middleweight Inocente Fiz has a new home.

The news came courtesy of mananger Oscar Vasquez, who is known by those in city for the way he has jumpstarted his son Damien’s career. The 18-year old Damien is 8-0 with 3 knockouts, having captued the NABF junior flyweight title in his sixth bout, and will be training alongside Fiz.

Vasquez informed Hustle Boss that Fiz, along with Damien, will be training under the watchful eye of Nonito Donaire Sr. inside of the Pound 4 Pound Boxing Gym in the coming weeks.

Born in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, Fiz (19-0, 13 KO’s) spent his early career fighting in South Florida before later racking up wins in the Dominican Republic.

Vasquez has countless years in the game, from managing fighters to promoting shows down in Mexico, and seems eager to move his latest pupil.
