Later tonight, inside of the Venetian Resort in Macau, China, living legend Manny Pacquiao will again grace the airwaves of HBO pay per view when he meets up with undefeated junior welterweight titlist Chris Algieri.

And while Pacquiao is a favorite to win the fight, there is still some uncertainty as to how the eight-division world champion will be able to deal with Algieri’s awkward, rangy style.

Having played an instrumental part in Pacquiao’s previous training camp as a chief sparring partner, undefeated lightweight upstart Lydell Rhodes knows firsthand just how much is left in Manny’s tank as he nears 36 years of age.

Rhodes worked with Pacquiao in the Philippines and later in Los Angeles ahead of the Filipino icon’s rematch victory over Tim Bradley. Reports from Pacquiao’s training camp in his hometown of General Santos City had him looking pristine throughout and Rhodes can’t pick against his guy.

“I gotta roll with him,” Rhodes said to HustleBoss.com as last night’s Layla McCarter-Melissa Hernandez III showdown at the Orleans Hotel and Casino.

“That’s my boy, so I gotta roll with him regardless,” Rhodes added of Pacquiao. “I honestly believe that he’s going to win. Algieri has a tough style for anyone but I think that Pacquiao’s experience and the hunger he still has, I think he’s going to take it.”
