A nice local card is shaping up in Vegas, with some quality fighters in the city making returns.

Pochiro Promotions, in association with RHP, will return to Sam’s Town Casino on March 14 for a main event that is sure to deliver fireworks as Australia’s Wes Capper (9-0, 7 KO’s) faces off with Northern California’s Tony Hirsch (17-6-1, 8 KO’s).

Capper has fought twice in Las Vegas to rave reviews and will have his stiffest test in Hirsch, who has faced a bevy of quality fighters in the middleweight classes.

Also on the card will be the return of Rashad Ganaway (14-5-1, 9 KO’s).

In his last bout, Ganaway gave a great effort in the face of pouring rain against Vegas fan favorite Jesus “Chuy” Gutierrez. After eight rounds, Ganaway fell short via majority-decision, as Gutierrez’s pressure and aggression was a little too much but Ganaway still has plenty of left in his tank.

In a special attraction bout, 17-year old NABF flyweight champion Damien “Sugar” Vasquez will return against Lorenzo Trejo in a match that has been rescheduled. Vasquez is one of the most modest young pupils you will see in the game but he attacks with a special poise and relentlessness that beguiles his age.

Cameron Kreal (6-7-2) always gives a great effort and he will again be in action against an opponent to be named.

Charvis Holifield (1-1) from the Mayweather Boxing Club will be back in action. Charvis has improved leaps and bounds and will be looking to improve from the good effort he gave in his bizarre fourth round disqualification loss to David Thomas this past November.

In a very action-packed fight, Holifield knocked Thomas down in the fourth round, only to see a disqualification loss be handed to him moments later when his mouthpiece came out one too many times.

Stay tuned for more details on this show.
