Chris Robinson was on hand at Abel Sanchez’s Summit Gym in Big Bear, California and undefeated lightweight contender Mercito Gesta (26-0-1, 14 KO’s) put in some rounds with heavy-handed prospect Joel Diaz Jr. (11-0, 10 KO’s). Gesta is preparing for a Dec. 8 showdown with IBF champion Miguel Vazquez on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez IV undercard.
