Saw a familiar face the other day inside of the Roy Jones Jr. Fight Academy out here in Las Vegas.

Welterweight veteran and former title challenge Mike Jones (26-2, 19 KO’s) is back in training in hopes of jump starting his career.

Jones last saw this past August when he was stopped by unheralded Jamie Herrera in seven rounds in a big upset in Atlantic City. His previous match, two years prior, Jones was stopped in the 11th round by Randall Bailey in his quest for the IBF welterweight strap.

Jones seems to be mentally regrouped more than anything else and spoke with HustleBoss.com about the latest with his career, including putting his promotional mishaps behind him as he eyes the future.
