As 2016 comes to a close, it’s hard to think of a more promising prospect than 18-year old Devin “The Dream” Haney.
Possessing an 11-0 record with seven knockouts in the lightweight division, Haney has been making a name for himself dating back to his early days as an amateur, when it was easy to spot his potential.
In 2016, Haney fought nine times and continued to impress. Littered within his showcases was an appearance on the Manny Pacquiao vs. Tim Bradley III undercard in Las Vegas, as well as appearances in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Tijuana, Mexico.
We caught up with Haney earlier this month and, as is always the case with him, he could be found working ardently on his craft. Inside of the Bones Adams Boxing Gym in Vegas, Haney went some rounds with some prospects from Texas and surely has 2017 in the back of his mind.
