The boxing world is still buzzing about the excellent heavyweight title fight that went down over the weekend, as WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and lineal champion Tyson Fury fought to a 12-round, split-draw inside of the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Following the final bell, scorecards reading 115-111 Wilder, 114-110 Fury, and 113-113 produced a draw for both men.
At the post-fight press conference, Wilder (40-0-1, 39 KO’s) was reflective as he spoke on what he learned after 12 rounds with Fury (27-0-1, 19 KO’s). Wilder addressed his performance in the contest, gave his view on the scoring, revealed what he could have done differently, and also set his eyes towards a possible rematch.
