On Saturday night, from the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA, the boxing world witnessed another closely-contested decision, as WBC welterweight champion Shawn Porter overcame a spirited effort from tough Cuban contender Yordenis Ugas to win a split-decision after 12 rounds of action.
