TYSON...

Moments ago at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York, British heavyweight Tyson Fury improved his record to 21-0 with 15 knockouts after scoring a knockout over a brave but outgunned Steve Cunningham.

Fury got in trouble early, as he was dropped by a ripping right hand from Cunningham in the second round that appeared to daze him. Slowly but surely, the 6’9” Fury would work his way back into the fight and began to use his size to his advantage, smothering Cunningham along the ropes.

The end came in the seventh round, as Fury unloaded a barrage of punches onto Cunningham, who dropped to the floor and didn’t beat the count. The 24-year old Fury eyes a future fight with either Klitschko brother while the 36-year old Cunningham falls to 25-6 with 12 knockouts.
