Earlier today, inside of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, former world champions Amir Khan and Dev0n Alexander weighed in ahead of their Showtime-televised duel on Saturday night.

Khan (29-3, 19 KO’s) will face off with Alexander (26-2, 14 KO’s) in what he considers to be a tryout for a possible crack at Floyd Mayweather next year.

But first things first, as Alexander is far from ready to roll over. Coming in at 147 pounds on the button, the St. Louis native looks as great as shape as he has been in and figures to be a strong test for Amir.

As for Khan, he too came in weighing at 147 pounds on the dot and he also is expressing an impressive physique and loads of confidence.

As the two men faced off with one another following their weigh-in, you could sense a slight touch of animosity in the air, but nothing too serious. This may not be a personal battle but it definitely figures to be a worthwhile match.
