It had been a few weeks since Hustle Boss had swung through the doors of the Mayweather Boxing Club and it was good to catch up with everyone on Monday afternoon.
With the Adrien Broner vs. Shawn Porter showdown looming this weekend inside of the MGM Grand, there is a special Fight Week buzz in the city already and it krept over into the gym.
One of the first faces we spotted was undefeated lightweight “Dangerous” Don Moore (17-0-1, 11 KO’s), as he and trainer Roger Mayweather are busy getting ready for a possible grudge match vs. local Filipino talent Cameron Kreal.
One of the top female champions in the sport, Ava Knight (13-2-3, 5 KO’s) is always on top of her game and looking for a fight in 2015
Undefeated lightweight prospect Maurice Lee (4-0, 2 KO’s) is one of the latest talents to sign with Mayweather Promotions and is eyeing a June 20 return
Always good catching up with ambitious Lanell Bellows. The bruising super middleweight (12-1-1, 7 KO’s) recently got revenge over Eddie Hunter, his only previous loss, and he is also eyeing a return this weekend inside of the MGM Grand.
Lanell is now working with Otis Pimpleton and he is in shape year round
One of Vegas’ brightest young talents, Money Prince Duarte, recently celebrated his fifth birthday and he now spends his time training at both Floyd’s and the nearby Pound 4 Pound Boxing Gym.
Accomplished amateur Daquan Mays is also back in the city and is looking sharp in his early weeks back
It’s always good to see Jessica Frazier on her grind. She is one of the bright female talents in the city as well.
