Amir Khan’s stock is as high as ever following his dominant unanimous decision victory over Devon Alexander this past weekend in Las Vegas.

Khan was razor sharp, picking Alexander apart with precise shots inside of the MGM Grand, nabbing his 30th victory as a professional while also paving the way for a possible dream fight vs. Floyd Mayweather in 2015.

Khan is the second most lucrative option on the table for Mayweather outside of Manny Pacquiao, and there seems to be a strong possibility he could land the match.

Speaking with Mayweather’s father and co-trainer Floyd Sr. recently, he shared his thoughts on Khan’s performance.

“Yeah, I saw it,” Mayweather Sr. said. “He fights like a washerwoman. That man throws punches all kinds of ways.”

During the telecast, former two-division champion Paulie Malignaggi, who lost to Khan over four years ago, seemed impressed by the British star’s showing, noting especially how well Amir was controlling the distance vs. Alexander.

“Paulie Malignaggi don’t know shit!” Mayweather Sr. would retort when asked of Malignaggi’s impressions. “What do Paulie Malignaggi know?”

With that said, Mayweather Sr. again turned his attention to Khan, ripping him further on the heels of one of his biggest victories.

“I’m going to be honest with you man,” said Mayweather Sr. “Aint nothing impress me about Amir Khan. Because Amir Khan, he fights like a damn woman.”

What Mayweather Sr. did have to say about Khan, was that he has established himself as more of an ideal opponent to his son as opposed to Pacquiao.

“I think he’s more of a threat, because Pacquiao aint going to throw but one punch at a time and this guy (Khan) is throwing all kind of crazy ass punches,” stated Mayweather Sr.
