One of the game’s top junior middleweights, Julian Williams, seems poised for a career breakthrough in 2015.

Led by the astute Stephen “Breadman” Edwards, Williams has been a good character to keep tabs with these past couple years.

With typical training camps taking place in Philadelphia, Williams is actually quite acquainted to the West Coast, with three Las Vegas appearances over the past few years as well as some appearances at various Southern California venues early in his career.

Williams (17-0-1, 10 KO’s) is slated for an appearance this Saturday, Dec. 20 inside of the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Wash. against late replacement Jamar Freeman (13-3-2, 7 KO’s) on Wilson, N.C.

The Williams-Freeman bout is part of a Showtime telecast on Showtime Extreme, headlined by 2008 U.S. Olympian and former world title contender Gary Russell Jr. vs. Christopher Martin.

Williams is a familiar face to HustleBoss.com, as we have went behind the scenes with him during his bouts vs. Eliezer Gonzalez and Hugo Centeno Jr. in Las Vegas.

Williams is a strong kid with good fundamentals and he is eager to soak up knowledge in the game. He’s established himself as one of the top prospects in the junior middleweight division and he should be on his way to some more meaningful matches next year.

Our friend Casey Morton up in the Bay Area recently revealed that ‘J Rock’ and Edwards had been putting in work at Undisputed Boxing Gym in San Carlos, an excellent spot to zone out and ply your craft.

Williams figures to deliver once again come Saturday. Stay tuned.
