Shout Out Series: Thomas Hill crosses the professional threshold

2014 was definitely a breakout year for Thomas Hill in several ways.

Having moved to Las Vegas from Milwaukee in Summer 2013, Hill wasn’t sure what his exact career path would be, yet he always seemed to have faith that things would figure themselves out.

It seems like just yesterday when HustleBoss.com first spotted Hill (seen below with prospect Luis Arias in Sept. of 13′) inside of the Mayweather Boxing Club.

He’s been a promising young talent to cover, first and foremost because Hill is a grounded individual who hasn’t gotten ahead of himself. He definitely has self-belief, but he is modest enough to know that several chapters of his story have yet to be written.

One person Hill connected with instantly was J’Leon Love, seen below with Hill. Love, a super middleweight prospect, has been somewhat of a mentor to his young friend.

Hill is also a very dedicated worker in the gym. From serving as a sparring partner to Mickey Bey (top left), to other work with top prospects like Quatavious Cash (top right), to staying sharp with coach Chris Bentchavtach, Hill isn’t afraid to put in some work.

This past summer, Hill signed on with advisor Al Haymon ahead of his professional debut. Seen below, Hill made the junior middleweight limit ahead of his matchup in Temecula, Calif. vs. Enrique Montez. He scored a unanimous decision victory and he is now 2-0 as a pro.
