On Sunday afternoon, Feb. 10, the defending champion Miami Heat overcame a spirited effort from the Los Angeles Lakers, pulling out a 107-97 victory inside of the American Airlines Arena.

Lebron James and Dwayne Wade led the Heat with 32 and 30 points, with each man shooting 12-18 from the floor.

On Wednesday night, the Phoenix Suns snapped the Los Angeles Lakers three game wining streak.

The Suns were led by Michael Beasley’s season high 27 points, while the Lakers have now lost eight straight on the road.

In a rather slow-paced first half, the Lakers suffered 12 turnovers as the game was tied 41-41. The Lakers seized the lead in the 3rd quarter and appeared to be on their way towards a 4th straight victory. However, a 29-13 run by the Suns in the 4th quarter would snatch away the victory.
