On Sunday afternoon, Feb. 10, the defending champion Miami Heat overcame a spirited effort from the Los Angeles Lakers, pulling out a 107-97 victory inside of the American Airlines Arena.

Lebron James and Dwayne Wade led the Heat with 32 and 30 points, with each man shooting 12-18 from the floor.

One man who wasn’t able to finish watching the festivities was popular rapper Lil Wayne, an admitted diehard Lakers fans.

Apparently, whether causing a ruckus or not, Lil Wayne was escorted out of the game simply for showing his favoritism to the visiting team.

Taking to his personal Twitter immediately after the incident, Lil Wayne seemed in disbelief.

“So I’m @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#€k da Heat,” Lil Wayne stated.

Dwight Howard Sr. expresses his displeasure towards Kobe Bryant and Mike D’Antoni

The Los Angeles Lakers have been no stranger to drama all season. A recent team meeting in Memphis apparently did nothing to improve the relationships between the players.

Instead of being a cohesive team there has been nonstop trash talking place between the players back to the media. All-star center Dwight Howard has taken a lot of that criticism for various reasons including not playing through his injuries.

On Wednesday, ESPNBoston.com’s Jackie MacMullan claimed Kobe Bryant challenged Howard to play through his shoulder injury.

“We don’t have time for [Howard’s shoulder] to heal,” Bryant stated. “We need some urgency.”

This didn’t sit too well with Howard, why responding by noting that Bryant is no doctor nor is he in the position to evaluate his physical condition.

On Wednesday night, the Phoenix Suns snapped the Los Angeles Lakers three game wining streak.

The Suns were led by Michael Beasley’s season high 27 points, while the Lakers have now lost eight straight on the road.

In a rather slow-paced first half, the Lakers suffered 12 turnovers as the game was tied 41-41. The Lakers seized the lead in the 3rd quarter and appeared to be on their way towards a 4th straight victory. However, a 29-13 run by the Suns in the 4th quarter would snatch away the victory.
