Super middleweight contender J’Leon Love has been a busy man these days.
On June 21, Love (20-1, 11 KO’s) scored an emphatic TKO victory when he got off the canvas to stop Jason Escalera in the seventh round inside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
In the past, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Love traveling the world over with his boss and good friend Floyd Mayweather after one of his matches, but he has stayed locked in the gym out here in Vegas.
Earlier this week we caught Love putting in some spirited rounds with rugged amateur Chyre Anderson. The work was brisk and you have to give Anderson a lot of credit for the way he has been handling himself against top pros like Love and Lanell Bellows, who he worked with earlier this month as well.
Anderson’s trainer Chris Bentchavtchav told us that Chyre only has ten amateur fights thus far but he’s definitely a kid to keep an eye on.
As for Love, no word yet on his return but good to see him steady grinding in the gym.
