Marquez dropped Alvarado with a hard right hand in the eighth and hit the deck himself one round later in a memorable pair of rounds.

Porter was aggressive early but Brook settled down and had great success in the second half of the matching, winning by scores of 117-111, 116-112, and 114-114 after 12 rounds.
