Moments ago, inside of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, Manny Pacquiao captured a hard-fought unanimous decision victory over Tim Bradley.

The action was intense from the get-go, as the two men appeared to be trading rounds with one another through the first four frames.

Pacquiao had success with sharp lefts while Bradley countered by staying aggressive and getting in his foe’s chest. The action was hot and the crowd was caught up in all of the theatrics.

Does Manny Pacquiao feel he can walk through Tim Bradley?

Having taken in several big fight weeks in Las Vegas, it’s always an interesting atmosphere as the days pass by.

For the main event fighters, a fight week symbols the end of the hard work in training as the attention turns to fielding the throng of questions from various media members while making sure to maintain a desired mental focus.

At Wednesday’s final press conference, I may have only shared a brief minute with Manny Pacquiao, yet I was able to get a nice read on the eight-division champion’s state of mind heading into his 63rd professional bout, a rematch with WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley this Saturday night at the MGM Grand.

In June of 2012, Pacquiao’s upset split-decision loss to Bradley was the talk of the boxing world due to the controversy surrounding the match.

The overwhelming majority of the public had Pacquiao winning clearly after 12 rounds and he appeared, at least in the first half of the fight, to not be affected by any of Bradley’s punches.

“No, I [didn’t] feel,” Pacquiao would state, starting off our discussion.

I asked the Filipino icon if knowing such information helped give him confidence and he modestly replied “Yes”.

When questioned if he thinks he could even walk through Bradley, Pacquiao simply grinned while nodding his head.

And while the dialogue was short and to the point, it was very clear to spot just how genuinely confident and eager to fight Pacquiao is.

I’m personally intrigued to see what plan of attack each man will bring into the ring.

As with any high-profile prize fight, there are several storylines and subplots surrounding this weekend’s Manny Pacquiao vs. Tim Bradley rematch at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

All one has to do is take a look back as the first Pacquiao-Bradley match to get a sense of how high the emotions have been.

In June of 2012, Bradley handed Pacquiao his first defeat in seven years when he won a highly-controversial split-decision verdict over the Filipino icon.

Freddie Roach continues to sound off; says Bradley may have brain damage and claims Marquez fought him ‘like a bum’

Anyone expecting any kind of pre-fight theatrics to emerge during the Manny Pacquiao vs. Tim Bradley II fight week in Las Vegas has to look no further than six-time Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach.

During his first few days fielding questions from media inside of the MGM Grand, Roach has exuded confidence while also appearing to have a slight chip on his shoulder due to his desire to unseat Bradley, the sport’s reigning WBO welterweight titlist.

Bradley captured a highly-controversial split-decision over Pacquiao nearly two years ago yet he recovered with a banner 2013 that saw him gut out tough victories over Ruslan Provodnikov and Juan Manuel Marquez.

And while Roach took a playful swipe at Bradley on Tuesday afternoon, simply noting “We’ll see you in the ring”, his demeanor was much more striking on Wednesday following the final press conference for this weekend’s showdown.

When asked for his thoughts on whether he thinks Bradley has improved following his big victories last year, Roach seemed anything but sold, referencing just how tough the war with Provodnikov truly was.

“He was knocked down three times in that fight?” Roach questioned. “That’s improvement? He might have brain damage. His speech is terrible. I don’t see any improvement at all.”

Bradley showed new wrinkles to his game in out boxing Marquez over 12 tense rounds yet Roach questions what version of the Mexican star showed up that evening.

“Marquez looked like a bum,” Roach boldly claimed. “Did Marquez look like the same guy who beat Manny Pacquiao?”

With so much brash pre-fight dialogue floating around in the air, it almost seems as if Roach has a slight personal vendetta against Bradley time around.

Not true, insists Roach, as he kept things professional.

“He’s not a bad person or nothing like that,” said Roach. “I just have the better fighter; that’s all.”
